Preston High Mission Statement

We believe our young people are our future! Our mission is to provide comprehensive educational programs that will develop students who are contributing members to society and will be competitive in pursuing the further education and careers of their choice.
Goals:

To enable students to attain specified competency levels directly related to:
- Basic skills in oral and written communications
- Math, Science, and Technology
To respond to students' special needs, talents and abilities by providing educational options suitable for each individual learner
To teach students how to become independent, resourceful, life-long learners
To aid students' personal and social adjustment by promoting a positive self-concept, healthful living, respect for others, self-discipline and responsible citizenship and leadership skills
